The National Council of NGOs -Kenya (The NGOs Council of Kenya) in PARTNERSHIP with Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) through the Department of Education,Training and public awareness will continue with sensitization program of our county level NGOs and other CSOs in our counties. Through the partnership, we have initial fruitful engagements with NGOs and other CSOs, with virtual sensitization forums in Nyanza North, Nakuru and Nairobi metropolitan regions. The virtual workshops organized in conjunction with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) continuously aims at strengthening collaboration and partnerships between county-based NGOs in the county and as part of promoting ethical values and integrity in the governance of public resources.
This partnership program will continue being rolled out across the country in the coming months to enhance ethical practicality among counties and communities across the country. We shall be at County meeting local NGOs and other CSOs operating in the county. Ethics and anti-corruption commission (EACC) promotes ethical conduct; prevents the occurrence of corrupt practices; educate the public and enlist their support in combating corruption; recover public property acquired through corruption and conduct mediation, conciliation, while the NGO Council of Kenya provides proactive leadership in the NGOs/CSOs Sector in Kenya as its mandate to enhance self-regulation of NGOs and assist them to realize their potential in improving services that improve the socio-economic status of Kenyan society in pursuit of sustainable development.
