The NGO Council Condemns Killing of Two Girls Due to Banditry

The NGO Council  of Kenya condemns with the strongest terms possible banditry attacks and any other forms of insecurity against innocent and peace loving citizens in part of the republic of Kenya. We call for peace in various parts of the nation and urge the Government to deal firmly with criminals terrorizing innocent citizens. The recent killings of school children in Tot, Kerio Valley and insecurity in other parts of the nation must be condemned by all peace-loving Kenyans and leaders. We urge all leaders at all levels to come together and work with Members of public to identify criminals threatening peace of others.  We further urge Kenyans to welcome the year with hope that this new year will come with good things for the betterment of our lives. We urge the Government to work by helping citizens that need much support to boost their lives. Peace among all Kenyans is paramount. We further appeal to Government, other Development Partners to initiate sustainable development programmes geared towards improving the living standards of citizens in order to attain sustainable peace.
