NGO COUNCIL OF KENYA -INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY reported by Tobius Ngerechi and Rexton Muriuki

The National Council of NGOs together with other organization joined kenyans in marking the International Peace day at kamukunji grounds on 21 september 2023.The following are stakeholders present

Asha Foundation, Mathare Peace Initiative, Global Partnership Organization together with the stakeholders and the area chief the day was a success.All organizations shared their part in maintaining and promoting peace within our country ,they also shared their activities and function on SDG 16 Peace Justice and Strong Institution.

The NGO council together with the stakeholders also participated in tree planting activity also in support of SDG 13 Climate action in marking the start of partnerships in promoting peace in our country.
