The NGO Council Calls For Peaceful Voting In Mombasa And Kakamega Counties Among Other Areas On Monday 29th August 2022

 

The National Council of NGOs-Kenya (The NGO Council of Kenya) is calling on the people of Kakamega and Mombasa Counties and Pokot South,Pokot North Constituencies to participate peacefully in voting during the Monday 29th August 2022 Elections and Elect leaders of their choice during the Important day in their respective Electoral areas. The NGO Council urges independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct free, peaceful, transparent and fair elections. The NGO Council of Kenya and members is conducting a Peace campaigns across the country to rally all to remain united and peaceful as the country awaits the declaration of the  5th president.
The NGO Council of Kenya through its Wananchi Peace initiative. Mobilizes Kenyans of all walks of life to take part in mobilizing all Kenyans to remain calm as the supreme court handles on the August 9 presidential race.
The NGO Council maintains that the petition should in no way divide the country and that life would go on even as the process is awaited. The NGO Council notes that the country should move on in building a nation. we laud all Kenyans for maintaining peace and harmony with one another.
