The National Council of NGOs Expresses Support For Moves Taken By The Government To Curb Growing Insecurity

The National Council of NGOs-Kenya calls on the Government to continue keeping vigilance and deal with few elements terrorize innocent and peaceful kenyans in the city and other parts of the country.

The National Council of NGOs in Kenya expresses support for moves taken by the government to curb growing insecurity in some parts of the city and dealing with cases of banditry in the nation . We laud President H.E William Ruto for the move he taken to ensure Kenyans are peaceful as they go on with their normal livelihoods and made the first decisive step urging illegal gun holders to surrender the weapons within one month or face the full force of the law.
It's unacceptable that some parts of the country are virtually under control of bandits who kill and rob at will as if there is no government. "It can no longer be business as usual and we commend the president for his decisive stand on resolving insecurity ravaging the north and north east which are also badly hit by famine. We urge security agencies to always remain vigilant and protect Kenyans and their properties.
The NGO Council and Members will work with the Government for the welfare of the citizens, he urged all Kenyans to volunteer information that will help the Government enhance peace and security in the country.
