The National Council of NGOs hosted Prof. Scott Taylor, The Vice Dean School of Foreign Service and 15 graduate and undergraduate students from Georgetown University. The students visited the country for an Academic trip as they seek to understand Kenya's dynamic development, across a diverse range of sectors, firms and institutions. As an important contributor to Kenya's Development, The NGO Council took the students through its role as an umbrella organization of national and international NGOs and CSOs operating in Kenya. With election politics domineering the Kenyan political space, the role of civil societies in calling for peaceful elections through the various campaigns and initiatives were shared at length.
