The NGO Council of Kenya joined the ASAL Humanitarian Network (AHN), Save the Children,Oxfam and Pastoralists Girls Initiative during the launch of Dangerous Delay Report at a breakfast meeting held at Radisson Blue,Upper hill. The report highlights the different places that are mostly affected by drought in Kenya, the impacts that the drought posses and how climate shocks continue to cripple government capacity and further stretch the global humanitarian system. It further highlights the critical role that the government and civil society organizations ought to play in order to ensure early response to address the risks, root causes of drought and build resilience.
